Projects

We are specialists in the business of informatics, whether applied to biodiversity research or for educational purposes.

From creating wiki-based systems to online games for eLearning, we offer solutions that enable individuals and communities to participate in content development.

In short, we empower individuals to become content drivers in the process of developing community rich portals.

Here are some key projects which we have successfully delivered.

Encyclopedia of Life, Malaysia

MyEOL will be a “community participatory platform” that enables researchers, ecologists, conservationists and nature lovers to identify, tag, and be involved in the process of inventorying all types of species found in Malaysian land, sea and air. MyEOL is South East Asia’s first e-Taxonomy platform and aims to develop an “E-Curator Laboratory”.

DROW Games

DrowGames is a word games generator with tools (RestfulAPI) which enables game developers to extract words (and their selected elements) from the DROW database and then link them to their games. With DrowGames, game developers can select or create word lists of their choice based on the DrowGames corpus and generate their very own XML files to incorporate these word lists into their flash games.
